The Ryan Fischer Legacy Award was established to Honor the life of Ryan Fischer and the legacy he left the Michigan hockey community. The award celebrates one outstanding senior varsity hockey player (male or female) who best exemplifies the character and values by which Ryan lived his life and who has made a positive impact to their team, their school, and their community.We need your help! The scholarship board is asking for your assistance in discovering this year’s recipient. Trenton boys' varsity wrestling finished 6th place out of 23 teams Saturday(1/10/26) at the Orange & Blue Classic in Lincoln Park with 126.5 points. Southgate was 1st, Saline 2nd and Monroe Jefferson 3rd. 7 boys placed with Brock Culpepper-12 placing 1st at 215 lbs. Going 4-0 on the day. He is now 31-0 with 24 falls. 3 wrestlers placed 3rd- 106-Lucas Calallero-9, 132-Cole Scrimenti-11 and 144- Blake Scrimenti-11. James Harrison-12 138 placed 5th and Elijah Benskey-11 113 placed 6th.  Good job wrestlers! We wrestle in a Downriver Quad on Wednesday at Allen Park taking on Allen Park and Lincoln Park. Saturday, we wrestle in a tournament at Lakeland H.S. Evelyn Rennie-11 100 went 2-2 at the tournament in Fowlerville and Trenton placed 40th out of 54 schools. The girls will be wrestling at Groves H.S. on this coming Friday at 5:00. JV boys placed 17th out of 24 schools Saturday at Garden City. Luis David-10 placed 2nd at 126 and Justin Vazquez-11 157

Trenton beat Edsel Ford 48-30 and Wyandotte 47-34. We are now 3-1 in the Downriver League and 16-3 overall. Wrestlers going 2-0 Lucas Caballero-106, Killian Lucidi- 120, Cole Scrimenti-132, James Harrison-144, Blake Scrimenti-150 and Brock Culpepper- 215. Elijah Benskey-113 and Evelyn Rennie-113 were 1-0. While Brody Herrell-126, Dane Heffinger-138 and Justin Vazquez-165 were 1-1.Saturday varsity will be at Lincoln Park and JV’s at Garden City. Both starting at 9:00. Friday the girls will be at Fowlerville starting at 5:00.

This message is for all middle school families with student-athletes interested in participating in athletics during the AMS Winter 2 Season.  Registration is open and available at anytime. All student-athletes must complete an online registration process using our website host, "Big Teams" BEFORE tryouts begin. Please note that no documents should be given to the school office, the coach, or the Athletic Office; everything will be uploaded online.  If you have already participated in the Fall or Winter 1 season, you are all set!  If you registered during the 2024-2025 school year you will simply need to update information; the registration process should be done.  An MHSAA Athletic Physical dated after April 15, 2025 will need to be uploaded, and you will need to acknowledge the handbook and concussion form protocols.  If you are new to the entire registration process, the link below will take you to a site with detailed instructions on how

Trenton finished 13th out of 30 teams with 105 points at the Wayne County Wrestling Tournament at Wyandotte Roosevelt High School on Saturday. Led by Brock Culpepper-12 who was first at 215 pounds, going 4-0 with 4 falls and remains undefeated on the year. Placing 5th in their respective weight classes were 11-Cole Scrimenti-126, 12-James Harrison-138 and 11-Blake Scrimenti-144 with all of them having 4-2 records in the tournament. Lucas Caballero-9 went 4-2 on the day finishing 2nd in the constellation bracket.  Trenton's B team travelled to Ann Arbor on Friday to wrestle at Skyline High School in the Skyline JV Invitational-2025. Luis David took 2nd place at 126 pounds, going 2-1. All these wrestlers placed 4th at their respective weight classes-9- Xavier Baxter-106 3-2, 9- Karter Baker-126, 9-Elijah Goin-150 3-2, 9-Connor Rodriquez-Nutter-157 2-2 and 11-Anthony Boucher-285 2-2. Boys Swim & Dive: Riverview Rockin’ Relays 12/6/25

The Trenton Boys Swim & Dive Team placed second overall out of nine teams at their first ever appearance at Riverview’s Rockin’ Relays event this past Saturday.  Every athlete came home with at least one medal!  Leading the charge in medal collections were Brandon Watkins, Nick Lear, Hunter Julian, Zach Schoen, AJ Kayal, Aaron Clark, and Gavin Diroff.  This was a “rocking” and “jamming” good time and wonderful way to start out what’s certain to be a wonderful season!

Trenton won the Doyle McIntosh Team Tournament Saturday, going 4-0. We beat Grosse Ile 47-24, Annapolis 51-30, Trenton B 62-16 and Clarenceville 66-18. Wrestlers going 4-0 on the day- 106- Lucas Caballero, 132-Cole Scrimenti, 150-Austin Cooper, 190-Luke Heffinger and 215-Brock Culpepper.  Wrestlers going 3-1 113- Elijah Benskey, 120-Killian Lucidi, 126-Luis David, 138-James Harrison, 144-Blake Scrimenti and 175-Parker Saches and 157- Elijah Goin 2-2. Another good day for Trenton Wrestling. Keep-up the good work! Trenton wrestles away at the Melvindale Quad on Wednesday 12-10-25 at 5:00. See you there. The girls wrestled at the 3rd Annual East Jackson Legends Invitational Friday. At 100 pounds Evelyn Rennie placed 4th going 3-2 with 3 falls on the day and Avalina Williamson went 3-2 with 2-falls and a major decision. Juliana Hanna at 125 went 2-2 on the day with 2-falls. Trenton won 50-30 over Berkley and 66-8 over Belleville. Wrestlers going 2-0 were 106-Evelyn Rennie, 113-Elijah Benskey, 120-Killian Lucidi, 132-Cole Scrimenti, 138-James Harrison, 165-Justin Vasquez, 175-Parker Saches and 215-Brock Culpepper.  126-Ryder Robinson went 1-0 and wrestlers going 1-1 144-Blake Scrimenti, 157-Elijah Goin, 190-Luke Heffinger and 285-Madden Robinson All the wrestlers wrestled really well. We now have the Doyle McIntosh Team Tournament Saturday 12/6/2025 at home starting at 9:00.
