Fall 2025-2026 Athletics Registration and Tryout/Practice Schedule

This message is for all middle school and high school families with student-athletes interested in participating in athletics during the 2025-2026 school year. Registration can start anytime after June 6, 2025. All student-athletes must complete an online registration process using our website host, "Big Teams" BEFORE tryouts begin. Please note that no documents should be given to the coach or the Athletic Office; everything will be uploaded online. If you registered during the 2024-2025 school year, you will simply need to update information; the registration process should be done. An MHSAA Athletic Physical dated after April 15, 2025 will need to be uploaded, and you will need to acknowledge the handbook and concussion form protocols. If you are new to the entire registration process, the link below will take you to a site with detailed instructions on how to register. Here are the notable results for the Track & Field League Meet held at Allen Park on May 20, 2025: Boys: Placed 5th OverallOwen Hasset, 1st place and all League in the 800Aiden Sabuda, 1st place and all League in 300 hurdles, 2nd place in 110 hurdles Girls: Placed 6th OverallSophia Smith, 2nd place and all League in 300 and 100 hurdlesDevyn Dorey, 3rd place in the 800
On a cool overcast/sunny day, the Southgate Titans hosted the League Tournament. The 1-4 Singles were played at Allen Park High School, and the 1-4 Doubles flights were played at Southgate . By reaching the finals in 7 of the 8 flights, the Lady Trojans placed 1st in the League Tournament. Liberty Bennett at 3 singles was a champion as was the doubles tandem of Rylie Lewis and Bella Kwasniak. Cecily Sawicki placed 2nd at #1 Singles, Miley Lustig placed 2nd at 2 singles, the #1 Doubles team of Jordyn Dorey and Olivia Branscum placed second, the #2 Doubles team of Brooke Buttson and Giana Qualls placed 2nd. Rounding out the scoring, Ella Smith and Chloe Srabian finished in 2nd as well. What a great team effort by everyone. With the League tournament 1st place finish and a 2nd place finish for the League season the Lady Trojans are Co-Champions with Gibraltar Carlson. Great Job ladies!!!
It was a long day at the Tennis courts but in the end the Lady Trojans came away Champions. Liberty Bennett at 3 singles and the doubles team of Ella Smith and Chloe Srabian (4 doubles) were individual flight champions. Every player on the team contributed winning either 1 or 2 matches. Finally a great day for tennis. The Lady Trojans hosted the Allen Park Jaguars for a highly contested match. In the end, the Trojans came out on top by the match score of 6-2. Winning matches for Trenton were:1S; Cecily Sawicki 6-4, 6-02S: Miley Lustig 6-3, 6-13S: Liberty Bennett 7-6, 6-31D: Jordyn Dorey/Olivia Branscum 6-2, 6-03D: Rylie Lewis/Bella Kwasniak 6-2, 6-24D: Ella Smith/Chloe Srabian 6-3, 6-2. Great job ladies, we have another league rival Match tomorrow vs Woodhaven
It was a delayed start to the 9th Annual Trenton Invitational Tournament. It was a long yet productive day as the Trenton Trojans placed 2nd. The 1 doubles flight of Jordyn Dorey and Olivia Branscum came away Champions. The 2 doubles tandem of Brooke Buttson and Giana Qualls were consolation Champions. 3 doubles team of Rylie Lewis and Bella Kwasniak came away with a 3rd place finish and the 4 doubles team of Chloe Srabian and Ella Smith came away with a 2nd place finish. Miley Lustig was a consolation champ at at 2 singles, Liberty Bennett finished in 2nd place at 3 singles and Irelynn Oboza finished as Consolation champ. All in all it was a good day of tennis despite the weather. It was a tough day on the tennis courts as the lady Trojans took on Gibraltar Carlson. Unfortunately, the Trojans lost by the score of 5-3. Winning matches for Trenton were:1 Singles Cecily Sawicki 7-7, 7-63 Singles Liberty Bennett 0-6, 7-5, 11-94 Doubles Chloe Srabian and Ella Smith. We had several close matches but lost a 3 set match at 3 doubles, and 4 Singles. It was a great team effort and I am proud of their play.
