Tryout information for Fall Sports at Trenton High School can be found below as well as contact information for coaches.  Just a reminder that a completed sports physical dated April 15th 2019 or later is required to attend tryouts.  Trenton students still looking to get a physical can visit Woodhaven High School this Thursday August 8th from 12pm-3pm.  The cost is $20 Cash.


Girls Cross Country:

The first practice is Monday August 12th, 3:15pm at the THS Track.  Bring Physical and Water Bottle.  Contact Head Coach Dave Lustig with any questions.

Boys Cross Country:

First practice: Monday August 12
Boys practice: 9am and meet at the porch in front of the gym by the Jock Lot
Girls Practice: 3:15p meet at THS Track
All level of runners are welcome and will be trained accordingly to each runners ability and conditioning.
Be prepared to run at the first practice. T-shirt, shorts and proper running shoes. Also bring a water bottle.

Girls Golf:

Girls golf tryouts are 9:00 AM August 12th and 13th at Waters Edge Golf Course on Grosse Ile. Each girl will be playing 9 holes of golf both days. You will be responsible for $10 greens fees each day of tryouts. 

Registration will begin at 8:30 AM to sign in and get your tee assignment. 
You must turn in a completed physical form to Coach Burk during registration to participate.

Boys Soccer:

Dates: Aug 12th 13th, and 14th
Place: Anderson Elementary
Time: 3-4:30pm.
Equipment: shin guards, cleats, water, physical and concussion form.

Boys Tennis:

The Fall Tennis Season is approaching. The Trenton Boy’s Tennis Season begins at 10 am on August 12, 2019. In order to try out each player must have filled out the concussion form and must have a physical on file. We are looking for any boys/athletes that want to play tennis that aren’t playing a fall sport.  Tennis is a lifetime sport and one that if you come out to play I guarantee that you will enjoy it.  It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner, the main thing is you give it your best and the coaches will work with you to improve your game.  We have never cut any players from the team, and being a team player has led to success in the classroom.  So give tennis a try, we are competitive and we create a fun atmosphere to everyone who comes out to play.  Coach Rich Menzel can be reached at 

Girls Swim

Details: We are a non cut competitive swim team. We welcome anyone to join with any types of experience levels.
Parent meeting: Monday August 12th 6:00pm in the THS commons
First practice: August 13th. Meet at the Kennedy pool at 11:00pm. We will have a team meeting and then a short practice at 12:00am to kick off the season. We will have breakfast at Zorbas to follow. *The midnight practice is a tradition and is voluntary, the next practice to follow is Thursday August 15th 8am at Kennedy.
Fees due: $80 suit fee due at the parent meeting
Items needed for practices: suit, goggles, and a swim cap.  Contact Coach Jim DeRupa with any questions.

*Custom team suits take at least 2 weeks to order, and since we want them for the season we need to get them as soon as possible.  Please text coach DeRupa 734-752-8204 suit size by August 8th!

Girls Volleyball

Tryouts will be August 14th, 15th and 16th from 11am-2pm in the THS Main Gym.  Girls should bring water or Gatorade.  Contact Coach Bob Heady

Sideline Cheer

Sideline Cheer tryouts were this past May, however if you are new to the school or interesting in learning more about the team please contact head coach Michelle Maci.
