The JV Trojans rolled in to face an undefeated Woodhaven team last Thursday, and they just fell short of upsetting the Warriors. QB Ty Norgren threw 3 TD passes and 2 two-point conversions. He also have a strong game on the ground. Dominick Calloway had 2 TD receptions, a two-point conversion reception, and he recovered an onside kick. Joaquin Maldonado had a TD reception, a two-point conversion reception and an interception. Matt Cheetam, Jason Marshall, Josh Hall, Andrew Block and Peyton Culpepper also contributed offensively. Max Rickman, Brady Kusak, Bowen Wendland and Maldonado all had strong defensive performances. Marshall had long kick return that helped Trenton obtain great field position in a crucial moment in the game. The play of the game goes to Alex Pawlik who placed an onside kick perfectly, allowing Calloway to recover it. Despite not being able to win the game, the Trojans showed grit and determination, and they fought until the very end. The JV Trojans (5-3) will finish their season on the road against the Lincoln Park Railsplitters this Thursday, October 24 at 6pm. Go Blue!
