It was a rough night at home for the JV Trojans. They faced a very big and very talented Woodhaven Warrior JV team. Offensively, Keegan Lewis ran the ball well at times and he completed passes to Caleb Kidd, Drew Dishnau, Owen McAlister, Bowen Wendland and Nate Ariganello. Other strong runs were provided by Andrew Block, Zack Hitchcock, Liam Totten, Bowen Wendland, Zach Berry, Nate Ariganello and Owen McAlister. It seemed as if every productive drive was stymied by an untimely penalty or a miscue. It proved to be a frustrating evening for the Trojan offense. Defensively, the Trojans were outmatched by a very athletic Woodhaven offense. Nate Estes had a fumble recovery, and there was strong play from Bowen Wendland, Logan Michels and Noah Carr at times, but overall, the Warrior offense was too much for the Trojans to handle. The JV Trojans (1-4) will look to finish the season with a win at home next Thursday against the Lincoln Park Railsplitters. Game time is 6pm.
