Varsity Baseball wins contest against Anderson on Monday, 6-2

Varsity Baseball got on the board in the second inning.

Varsity Baseball notched three runs in the sixth inning. The offensive firepower by Varsity Baseball was led by Gabe Cavazos and Ian Lozon, who all drove in runs.

Micah Ottenbreit was on the mound for Varsity Baseball. He surrendered two runs on three hits over seven innings, striking out nine.

Scott was on the hill for Anderson. He lasted five innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out five. Haley and Ortman entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one inning and one inning respectively.

Varsity Baseball racked up ten hits. Adam Wilding, Cavazos, and Jay Solano each had multiple hits for Varsity Baseball. Solano, Cavazos, and Wilding each collected two hits to lead Varsity Baseball. Varsity Baseball didn’t commit a single error in the field. John Tuttle had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.
