More About Girls SoccerTrenton went to Carlson, looking to turn the table on the Marauders, but came up short, 23 - 31. The first half was back and forth. Carlson led after 1 quarter and Trenton led at the half. Unfortunately, we came out of the break ice cold and we were shut out in the 3rd quarter. We finally sank some shots in the final quarter, but we could not overcome the hole we dug. In total, we rebounded well, limited turnovers, and shot well from the FT line, but from the field, we shot poorly and this was our ultimate demise. More About JV Girls Basketball: 2/20/25The Trojans came alive in the second half, lifted by 12 points from Olivia in the 3rd quarter, to defeat the Bears, 40 - 34. The girls were a bit slow in the first half, with too many turnovers and some missed defensive assignments. Wyandotte took a 7-point lead into halftime. We came out of the break with a renewed focus and intensity, hit multiple three pointers, sank several layups, made nice passes, and limited our turnovers. As a result, we outscored Wyandotte by 13 points in the second half for this exciting come from behind victory to even our record at 9 - 9.---------------------------- Liliana: 3 pts, 5 rebsOlivia: 17 pts, 6 rebs, 1asst, 1 def, 4 stls, 1 blkQuinn: 3 rebsAddison: 6 pts, 8 rebs, 1 asst, 4 stls, 1 blkBrooke: 2 pts, 3 rebs, 1 blkGreta: 3 pts, 2 rebs, 1 asst, 1 blkKayla: 2 pts, 1 reb, 2 assts, 1 blkMaria: 7 pts, 10 rebs, 1 stl, 3 blksMillie: 3 rebs, 1 def

More About Trenton Hockey: Regular Season SummaryThe Trojans were not able to build on the positive momentum of the past few games and fell to AP, 21 - 36. We had many good looks at the basket, but our shots failed to hit the bottom of the net. The turnover bug bit, again, and ended many good offensive sets and fast breaks. More About Girls JV Basketball: 2/13/25The Trojans played a complete game, defensively, offensively, and especially on the fast break. We shot well and limited our turnovers, while applying steady defensive pressure. We overcame an initial deficit to build a 10 point lead, but Divine Child clawed their way back and evened the score. After a quick time out, we switched to full court pressure and DC struggled to get across half court. We outscored DC by 11 points in the 4th quarter to seal the 41 - 26 victory.
