Because of the size of the team this season, all the boys were able to be entered into the meet. The AMS Boy Swim and Dive Team finished second (2nd) in the league meet, tied with Woodhaven Brownstown. All the boys competing in the meet improved their times and helped the team to its success at the league meet. The following boys were the medal earners at the meet. More About Trenton Basketball: 12/10/24Varsity Boys won against Edsel Ford 16 to 14.After losing both bakers and trailing 10 to 0 the boys won 6 of the 10 games and total pins overall to take the win. Top bowlers of the day were Austin Iacovacci with a 208, Cameron Shimmell with a 193.Henry Edge, Jacob Kulhanek, and Sawyer Keeton all won points in the match to help with the win.
More About Boys Bowling 12/5/24 vs Edsel FordTrenton beat Berkley 42-28 and lost to Wyandotte 66-18. 120- Cole Scrimenti and 165- Luke Heffinger went 2-0 and both had 2 falls on the night. Starting at 106- Evelyn Rennie, 126- Kevin Fritz, 132- Blake Scrimenti, 144- Austin Cooper, 150- James Harrison, 175- Mike Rowland and 215- Brock Culpepper all went 1-1. First competition of the year and a lot of room for improvement. We will definitely be working harder to get better.>
More About Trenton Tri Wresting Meet 12/4/24Varsity Hockey Wins on Wednesday Night The Trenton Varsity Hockey team welcomed Grosse Pointe South into Kennedy Ice Arena on Wednesday night for an MIHL game. The Trojans were coming off of two wins as GPS was coming off two straight losses.The Trojans wasted no time as they jumped the Blue Devils early. It was Patrick Rogowski scoring his first HS goal on assists from Kneiding and Sparks. Off another draw, it was Landon Stark who found the back of the net from Sparks and Kneiding. Donovan Durbin joined the scoring train as he scored a short-handed goal from Leone. To round out the first period, it was Zach LaMay who scored from Bradford and Durbin. The Trojans took a 4-0 lead into the first intermission. In the second, it was more Trojans. Easton Tinsley scored from Allen and Popowicz to make it 5-0. Next it was Stark with his second of the game and team leading 4th goal of the season with assists from Kneiding and Sparks.&nbs
More About Varsity Hockey Wins on Wednesday Night (12/4/24)The JV girls began the season vs. non-league for St. Mary's Catholic, losing by a score of 23 - 29. We had some early butterflies to start the game and were held scoreless in the first quarter. After the slow start, the girls began to play better basketball and we closed the gap with SMCC. It was back and forth for much of the second half, but too many fouls on our part stopped our comeback efforts. More About Trojan Bowling Season Opener: 12/3/24Trojans get 1st Win of Season vs DLS: The Trojans were at home for their Annual Day-Before-Thanksgiving game as the crowd and Alumni showed up to support the home team. The Trojans welcomed MIHL powerhouse DeLaSalle for Wednesday's match-up. In an unbelievable and unpredictable way, the Trojans went to their fourth straight overtime game to open their season. In the first period, the Trojans and Pilots exchanged blows but neither could score. Both goaltenders played well. Senior goalie Evan Sivi was solid between the pipes and made 8 saves in the first period to keep the score tied at 0. In the second period, again, both teams traded blows. Both teams had opportunities on the powerplay, but both goalies turned away shot after shot.
