Trenton bats were hot on Monday as the Trojans had 22 hits on their way to a 20-2 victory over Edsel Ford. The Trojans were led on offense by Analy Guth who was 3-3 with a home run, a double, a single, a sacrifice fly, and a total of 4 RBIs. Lex Klonica was 2-2 with a home run, double, and 4 RBIs of her own.
Five Trojans had 3 hits each and one double each: Analy Guth, (3-3), Aleah Tanguay (3-4), Molly Edmunds(3-4), Annika Segedi (3-4), and Maggie Krohn (3-4).
Rounding out the hitting was London Williams (2-4 with a triple and a single and 2 RBIs)
Bri Thomas got the win in the circle pitching 3 full innings and allowing just 3 hits and she struck out 5. Amber Duffany thew the last inning, struck out 2 and did not allow a hit.
With home runs today by Analy Guth (#6 on the year) and Lexis Klonica (#1 on the year) the Trojans have smacked a team-high of 36 home runs.
The Trojans will be home tomorrow to take on State Ranked #5 Saline (D1) with a 4:30 start.
