Trenton Trojans Varsity fell to Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers 4-3 on Friday at Kobs Field on the final play of the game. The game was tied at three in the bottom of the eighth when Gavin Darling singled, scoring one run.

Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers got on the board in the first inning after Darling hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Luke Dupuis walked, and Grant Garman stole home, each scoring one run.

Trenton Trojans Varsity tied the game up in the top of the fifth thanks to two singles. Trenton Trojans Varsity tied the game at three on a single by Carson Boike.

Isaac Sturgess earned the win for Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers. The reliever surrendered zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking one.
